Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Willmar Concrete website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, calling us or booking a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site, and ask us any questions before you book.

Willmar Concrete is a concrete contractor based in Willmar, MN. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Willmar Concrete, and "you" means the person using the site or hiring us.

What we do

We pour and repair concrete for homes and businesses in Willmar, Litchfield and the cities around them, including driveways, patios, sidewalks, garage floors, steps, footings and foundations. You can read about our work on the home page and learn who we are on our About page. We're licensed and insured.

What you read on this site is general information, not a promise about your job. The details of your project, such as size, thickness, finish and site prep, are set in your written estimate or agreement, and if anything on this site differs from that agreement, the agreement controls.

Estimates and pricing

We give free in-person estimates, and there's no pressure to book. An estimate covers the work it describes, based on what we can see on site, and it stays good for the time written on it.

Your price can change if the job changes. That usually happens when you ask for a change, when we find soft or wet ground, roots or buried debris once the old concrete is out, or when material costs jump before your job is scheduled. We'll tell you before we do any extra work and get your okay on the change and its cost.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We confirm your date before we start, but concrete depends on the weather. Rain, cold, high heat or wet ground can push a pour back, and we'll move the date rather than pour in conditions that would weaken the slab. We aren't responsible for delays caused by weather, material shortages, permit timing or other things outside our control.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (320) 419-1056 as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials or started work, you may owe for those costs, as your written agreement explains.

After the pour, it's up to you to keep people, pets and vehicles off the new concrete for the curing time we give you, which is the wait while the concrete gains its strength. Damage from using it too soon isn't covered.

Payment

Your written estimate or agreement says whether a deposit is due and when the balance is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause work and use the remedies Minnesota law gives contractors, which can include a lien on the property and the cost of collecting what's owed.

Our work and what it doesn't cover

Satisfaction guaranteed. If you're not happy with our work, tell us and we'll work with you to make it right. Any written warranty for your job is spelled out in your agreement, and that's the warranty we give.

Concrete is a natural material, so hairline cracks, slight color differences between pours and minor surface variation are normal and aren't defects. We cut control joints, the grooves across the slab, to steer cracking into straight lines where it's less noticeable. Our warranty doesn't cover damage from de-icing salts, loads heavier than the slab was built for, water left to pool and freeze, soil we didn't prepare, or changes others make after we finish.

The website itself is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete, current or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

As far as Minnesota law allows, Willmar Concrete isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of your driveway during a job or lost time or income, unless your written agreement says otherwise.

Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to what you paid us for that job. Nothing here limits any liability the law doesn't let us limit.

If we disagree

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us or send a message through our contact page first, because most issues get sorted out with a conversation and a visit to the site.

If we can't work it out, either of us can take the dispute to the Minnesota state courts for the county where the work was done.

Which law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this site when you book a job applies to that job, and later changes don't alter a written agreement you've already signed.

If you have questions about these terms, call (320) 419-1056 and we'll walk you through them.
